The Special
Education Parent Advisory Committee is composed of interested parents, teachers,
staff, and community members within Coronado and surrounding areas. This
collaborative network serves to provide information, support, advocacy and
training opportunities at monthly meetings. Our organization is dedicated
supporting students with any level of special education services.
We invite all
interested parents, teachers, service providers, and community members to be
involved in our supportive committee. We would like to use this venue as a place
for our community to share their thoughts and information.
We will provide
reviews of our presenters and other relevant events in our area and would like
to invite comments from our community. Please give us feedback on presenters,
ideas for educators you would like to hear from, policy and/or protocol, and
opportunities for parents, providers, and students involved in special
education. We would like to focus on finding solutions and creating
understanding.
